Been doing art since a wee child. I was that kid always drawing in class instead of doing my work. And trust me when I tell you, I've spent many a day on punishment because of it.. but it's cool. It wasn't until the early 2000's after moving into a new home in DC that I really started taking my art serious and art became my world. I couldn't take the bare walls and created my first painting. It quickly became a converstion piece for everyone who came through and I have been painting from then on out. I've since been blessed to have many creatives grace my life, keeping me on and lighting my path along the way.

When it comes to my art, as you can probably see I like hats, bright colors, and got a thing for stripes. Often inspired by fashion and the flowing shape of vases, my art is far from serious and can be just as silly and goofy as me. From colorful acrylic paintings to black and white mixed media prints adorned with recycled fabrics, my work celebrates the love of life, dreaming, long summer days, friendship, roots, learning, and positive growth. Each piece of art carries with it, a moment, thought, or emotion, through it’s vibrant liveliness and movement, concentrating in the area of all things positive. Everything is and will always be painted in a positive light.
